Through the manifesto I question the choice of some people, "scavijando" the candle of St. Ubaldo before entering the other candles in the cloister of the basilica, they decide when the race is already over, undermining the deep meaning of the message of unity, of people of tribute that the three candles together and only together can represent.
compromise is thus a time to celebrate that, while covering a minimum time interval in the day, has an enormous educational value.

Proprio per questo dalla sottoscrizione popolare scaturisce una specifica richiesta rivolta alle Istituzioni ed alle figure tradizionalmente deputate all’organizzazione della Festa dei Ceri.
La tempestiva, urgente organizzazione di un dibattito pubblico sull’argomento da cui, dopo un confronto a 360° tra le Istituzioni ed i Ceraioli, emerga una linea condivisa.
Un invito ufficiale in questo senso è stato già inoltrato a mezzo posta agli interessati.
La richiesta viene dal popolo e, fosse for that alone, should not be betrayed.
